This spring the Graduate College, Graduate Student Senate, the Honors College and the K20 Center host the 2009 Student Research and Performance Day on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.. This event provides one venue for OU graduate, undergraduate, and K-12 students to present their research, creative projects, poster displays, artistic performance, art exhibits, and research presentations.

Student Research and Performance Day will coincide with the University of Oklahoma Parent's Weekend, offering additional visibility of student research to the OU community. It will be held in the National Weather Center located on the OU Research Campus.

Graduate, undergraduate and K-12 students will have the opportunity to present current research presentations, paintings, photography, sculpture, video etc. through the use of portfolios, posters, slide and video shows. Graduate, undergraduate and K-12 categories will be judged independently.

The best presentations in each category of graduate and undergraduate categories receive a cash award and K-12 participants will receive certificates of participation. The competition categories will be determined based on the participants' fields of study.

We hope you will submit your research and participate in this innovative conference highlighting the outstanding research at the University of Oklahoma and across the state of Oklahoma.
